Welcome to the 2008 Elfquest fan art calendar!
The theme for this year is "Favorite Moments," in honor of Elfquest's 30th anniversary.
The anthropologist Ashley Montagu said, "The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us." How true. And how wonderful it is when, seemingly from nowhere, a word or a thought or an image or a memory taps us on the shoulder and fills our heart.
For thirty years Elfquest has, often in the sneakiest of ways, reached out and touched our spirit with a favorite moment that we remember even years after reading of it. It may be an event, or simply the expression on a face. It may be shared by many readers, but it's always also intensely personal.
On the World of Two Moons, an elf's life can be dangerous and short. But within beautiful moments, time can last endlessly. They are all around; be ready for them.
The calendar is designed to be printed one month to a page. Click on each month's thumbnail image to download the full calendar page.
Also there are images of the artwork without the calendar grid, for use as desktop pictures or wallpapers. Two different images are provided, one for monitors 600 by 800 pixels, the other for monitors 768 by 1024 pixels or larger. Click the appropriate "size" link for your setup.

This is the online shop where we offer all sorts of EQ goodies, including calendars.
