“Final Quest” makes Amazon’s “Best Spring Reads” list

Opened up our email and this jumped out from the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics:

“Just wanted to give you a heads up. We got word from our Book Market crew that ElfQuest: The Final Quest volume 1 was selected as an Editors Pick in Comics and Graphic Novels for the Spring Reads program they’re doing. Exciting shout out!”

(You may have to click through the listing to find it, but it’s definitely there.)

This, coming hot on the heels of The Complete Elfquest volume 2 making the New York Times bestseller list just one month ago, has us giddy. Our eyes read with joy! Our heads spin with joy!

Ayoooooooah! Can’t wait until mine gets here so I can read Final Quest…again. :skywise:

  5. Nice 😀 I was already able to buy mine in the Netherlands! ^^

  6. Looks like everyone is finally finding out what we already know: ElfQuest Rocks! Ayooooooah!

  7. This may sound like a ridiculous question, but is there any way that a black and white Final Quest would ever be released? I LOVE the coloring, but I’ve always prefered seeing Mrs. Pinis amazing detail, which I think shows up best in black and white. It sure would be nice to have copies of the Final Quest in both color and black and white.

  8. It was meant to be made in color so I don’t think it’ll look as good as the OQ when you take away the colors… Yet another reason for that is that FQ is drawn digitally and OQ was drawn by pencil (correct me if I’m wrong). But I agree, OQ looks really stunning in black and white!

  9. Zinegirl, that’s an excellent point. I hadn’t thought of that. Oh well; Sonny Strait’s coloring is amazing, so I’m more than happy with what’s currently out.

  10. My mum and I just got it! Almost done with it!
