Final Quest Issue 11 Cover and Teaser

Final Quest Cover 11

Comic Book Resources has just published Dark Horse’s solicitations for September 2015, complete with the cover art and teaser for issue #11 of Final Quest, which hits Dark Horse digital and comic store shelves on September 23.

This one’s going to be a doozy, folks:

“The one issue you dare not miss! The elves’ unprecedented gathering reaches a fever pitch when Strongbow’s lifemate Moonshade, Oddbit the troll queen, Mender the healer, Skywise the stargazer, and even evil Winnowill pursue their hearts’ desires—and some dare ask for even more! Angrif Djun’s war fleet invades the Wavedancers’ waters as a shattering moment of truth occurs between Cutter and Timmain.”

In the meantime, issue #10 is out on July 22. Getting these advance teasers makes the waiting between issues a little less grueling (or maybe even more tortuous)! (H/T to Stefan Gerritsen!)

  1. Poor Strongbow… what will he do. Follow his heart or his soul?
And why are Skywise and Leetah looking upset…

  2. Hmmm, looks like Leetah and Strongbow are no longer wearing pieces of the palace…guess all the “star stuff” is needed for the big trip?

  3. I think Timmain is going to choose to stay behind with Cutter on Two Moons and they’re watching the palace go. So, Skywise is not only losing Cutter, but his mentor as well.

  4. This wait will kill me! Wonder what Oddbit and Mender will pursue? I have a feeling the shattering moment of truth has something to do with mortality and wolfblood.

So excited! I love having to wait since I’m on,y 17 and was able to binge read all the old stories! So exciting!

  7. @weaver! You are right, didn’t even noticed that, but Leetah has changed clothes in this storyline more then I can remember, also because of the timejumps.
Might have something to do with her choice to stay and Strongbow for being angry the Palace and Timmain came in his life and changing everything he knows and loves

  8. Remember the cover art is made months before Wendy crafts the issues so the clothing and ephemera will be different than what we see inside the issue. That said and knowing Wendy, she does put in these little details or leaves them out on purpose, too.

How about this for a plot twist: Timmain in her new form recognizes Cutter in stead of Skywise, now that would certainly explain the looks on Leetah and Skywises faces!

  10. Her clothes are definitely the same. (I hope the pic posts this time)

  11. @Eveningstar – That’s what I’ve been suspecting since last issue. Jink sure does look like she could be a cross between them, after all…

  12. I don’t think recognition is in the cards for Timmain, seems like she’s above that situation. Wasn’t that an evolutionary development anyway for survival? I think she’s just going to be revealing something about the origin of the cone heads or her view of her wolf rider descendants. Based on this solicitation it doesn’t seem to be a positive bit of news she’s about to deliver to Cutter… http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/call-of-duty-debuts-usagi-yojimbo-hits-150-in-dark-horses-november-2015-solicitations
