Slightly off-topic, but does anyone have an opinion about fixing (as in fixative) and storing charcoal, pastels and other soft drawing media?
BTW at least one art teacher advised that rag stock paper should only be picked up with two hands, to avoid buckling. I would add that any archival material is best handled with gloves.
Gouache is wearing lavendar argyle to a croquet tournament - no, that's "gauche"... Gouache? Heard of it, but we never touched it in art school. Maybe its temperamental nature is why. "Satan's paint", for some reason, makes me think of Whiskey Painters of America.
