Nightfall captured and Cutter in charge Ekaur would have reopened that hole in the wall within a heartbeat and the Wolfriders would have gone flying back in there. Okay, granted... Kahvi didn't know the trolls were slowly and dramatically dragging Vaya away, their backs to the wall like a pair of stormtrooper mooks. But it was still pretty damn callous (and hey, typical Kahvi!) to be talking about avenging her when... you know, there is still plenty of time to actually RESCUE her.
