Post in this thread your collected templates, accessories
or bases. Links to the place you found them would be
suitable instead (if they are hosted online still),
but if you can't link, then post and if you can please name the resource
(if you can't I won't go crazy, but please do try).
These all came from a microheros site
(which one I am no longer certain, but perhaps it was the
lilheros yahoo board). I do not know the artist to credit, but none of these were made by me.
Ok, now you have some hair,
*giggle* Now to track down some bases an' stuff . . .
Thank you for posting the hair templates, Nightsea. Could be helpful to figure out how to make good looking hair for other bases as well, I guess!
If you do a google search for "micro hero templates" you'll
not need me to post them because you'll find them on the
web for yourself.
Has a nice Paint tutorial:
Woot!! I'm on a template collecting spree right now! Yahoo!!! I found a KIMONO!!! Yippee!!! I can make Tsukiko or I can make Tiraleen in Ninja dress or Lei'Ahree in Eremaki clothing . . .
Wicket has most of these but to get the ultimate micro collection, join MIB
Both of these are excellent and the yahoo group has most of the generic temps, while the MIB forum has those made by other members as well
A blue base for some of our blue characters. Of course this is one of
that set Wendy made for the Role Playing Game.
I have all that set available if folks want copies, please ask.
Makes me wonder if I can pixel draw them like my drawings are on those bases.... doubt it.
Not sure what you mean. Do you want to make your own tiny pixel
bases in the same poses? Do you want to draw pixel by pixel on the
one I showed even though it is a larger size?
I could, of course, just shrink the set down to say 200 X 200
pixel size or less. Will do that if you want me to.
The only reason I never tried the other bases cause cause they didn't have faces. I think I'd be able to do the outfits on those dollz, just not the hair. I like tha bigger size on those cause theres more i can work with :D
oooh, you even threw in a little one :D Gonna try it! :D
Ok, I have this one that I started making into Leetah.
I cannot seem to find where I got the base. My only clue is the name emma.
Anyone want to do some clothes for her?
One or more outfits?
THANK YOU for archiving that, Kat! I had only just discovered the Foxgnaws page when it went down. lots of good stuff to play with here that I didnt save (or find!) before.
There's a base I've seen a lot at DeviantArt and a few other places, for a game-making program called RPG Maker. I've edited it edited for skin color, eyes, male body shading, ears (got those off specific dolls), and a few other tiny things.
Only gonna keep this up a few days, it's the entire Foxgnaws template archive...
If you want it, better grab it now.
As requested by Jeedai,
from the My Own Superhero Application on Facebook
(these are as much of a base as is possible to get from there without edits):
Avatar community Ruffles is updating to a new base. Here's the male version of the old style:
And here's my edit of the new female base:
I made the mouth, ear and changed the hand and fingers on that one above.
If you want to get the old base...go get it from Ruffles now before it poofs.
The female old base also has a tail like the male and they do come in a few skintones. The few bits of clothing they have mostly still fits the old bases.
Dunno if anyone can get any use out of it... but here's the template for the school uniforms that I built for my characters that I was showing off in The Dollmaker's Dollhouse..
Two edits from bases found on the Glam! forum:
On that one, I made the male after flipping and mirroring the female.
Obviously did the ears too. I can see them as a couple on a heart
background for Valentine's Day...but likely don't have time to doll
'em up. Have at it, Romantics! Canon couples are a great idea
for a 'series'.
The one above would make a splendid Savah...but feel free to use her
for anyone. (fingers and "ears" my fault again).
Great contribution, I'll have to go peek in the Dollhouse thread, Grizz.
Since the Elven Holt went down I just went ahead and put my bases from that site in a photobucket folder... here ya'll go!
wow ... havn't realized those are so many! Thanks for sharing them and making available once more!
Okay... I edited the school uniform templates...
And I recolored some wings...
And I edited a base for a new pose...
If they can help anyone, feel free to chop them to bits...
I think most of ya'll already have these, but here they are again... the high edited templates of RatOnPier
The base I had to edit together for my Easter Special micro... two versions, one with the awful feet and one with actual feet...
And a collection of stuff that I've edited, in some cases greatly, in others not so much... in a couple cases almost completely...
Everything in that has been altered in some way by me... but I can't really say that I *created* any of it... In some cases it was resizing, in others it was putting something together from multiple sources. At least two are almost wholly drawn by me from an initial curve or a set of sleeves... Some are simple recolors. I tried to pull most of those... but I might have missed one or two.
Have at it, guys. If anything I do can help you, feel free to use it.
Does anyone have that wolf handy? Not the Wendy one, the micro one.
One of my bestest buds, Rich sent this to me New Wings!!
All look great ... but some are simply stunning. I lack the time to go through all of then - each would be worth a close look! - as well as the time to comment on all that had caught my eye at first sight. I'm a bit obsedded by dragonfly and butterfly wings at the moment. The detail of the dragonfly wings is incredible, the irisident color effect of the blue and violet butterfly wings is fantastic. The bat like "net wings" are intriguing as well as fire and ice wings. The black batwing looks perfectly natural ... I could go on with this.
Rick did absolutly fantastical work! Thank you so much for sharing!
Not sure if the latest additions to my collection got added, so here goes.
I will never know what possessed me to reshade that wing in six shades...
This recolored wing looks fantastic, Grizz - worth the effort!
I've edited two kids bases MrsGrizzley is using:
EDIT: Slight changes on the 3 yrs girl base and boy base added.
The "arm up" toddler goes acceptably well with a closed legs and straight hands adult base.
I am SO going to use those! :D
More than one person has asked me for these... since the site went down here they are... they're not staying up long so get um while you can.
Posting more dollmaker links in my doll thread
Found CCC's wingsets again, I know at least 2 of you'll want this one :D
The smaller micro bases I'm using now were made by Rayne
The others are off of Joffre's template, but I can't post that one. I can send via PM though
