The Star Home is the name now given to the world from which, ages ago, the High Ones came to the World of Two Moons. As told at the conclusion of the Original Quest, this was an ancient planet, long “used up,” whose inhabitants had evolved so far as to shed their physical bodies and become beings of pure spirit-energy. But then they made the fateful choice to return to the realm of matter, and to explore the universe beyond their own sphere.

At the conclusion of the Final Quest, many of the elves chose to return to the revived homeworld, and to make new lives there, free of the rigors they knew they would face if they remained on the World of Two Moons. On the Star Home, they now pursue interests very different from the old “ways.”
