When the Palace of the High Ones crashed to the World of Two Moons, the surviving Firstcomers scattered for survival to the four corners of the world. One group included the mythical Timmain who would, by virtue of her overarching devotion to the survival of all, become the mother of all the Wolfrider chiefs to come.
By the time of Cutter, stories of the Ten Chiefs have become the stuff of legend as well as providing plenty of storytelling fodder for elfin parents to entertain and teach their cubs. There was Timmorn Yellow-Eyes, offspring of Timmain, he who would become the very first chief of the Wolfriders. And following Timmorn, the blood-line of leaders has showcased the full spectrum of leadership, from female and male, from gentle to violent, from wise to foolhardy. It is a rich and colorful “family tree.”
