Richard’s reaction to the news:
By Two-Spear’s Shafts! We just got the news that we (Wendy and I) have been nominated for the 2019 Comic-Con International Eisner Hall of Fame. This is an astounding honor; whether or not we actually make it in, simply to be in the company of such stellar names and talents as these, is mind-bending and humbling all at once. Look over this roster! For certain, there will be more to say about this as Comic-Con draws closer, but right now, we simply have to throw off all pretense of blasé coolness and SQUEEEEE! (Followed by a very loud AYOOOAH!)
Here is the Hall of Fame nominee profile for the Pinis:
In 2018 Richard Pini was nominated for an Eisner Award for the retrospective art book Line of Beauty: The Art of Wendy Pini in the “Best Comics-Related Book” category.
