WELCOME TO THE ELFQUEST COMICS LIBRARY

Here you will find nearly every issue and collection of ElfQuest comics published between 1978 and 2013. Essentially, almost everything from The Original Quest until the start of The Final Quest and Stargazer’s Hunt (which are still available in both print and digital formats from Dark Horse Comics).

You can read the stories by series in the order they were published (below) or in chronological order (over the entire saga).

MISCELLANEOUS

A potpourri of issues and stories that don’t fit into any of the other series or collections. Some are canon, some are “what-if” — we think all are interesting.

A Gift of Her Own isn’t even a comic or graphic novel — it’s ElfQuest’s first (so far) foray into the arena of children’s books. And Return to Centaur is that rarest of all ElfQuest endeavors — a full-fledged crossover between the World of Two Moons and Piers Anthony’s legendary Xanth series of prose novels.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS and NOTES

In 2009, Richard Pini made nearly every ElfQuest story available online to read for free, feeling then (as now) it is crucial to attract new readers even if back issues are hard to find. For that decision we are all indebted. Also, many thanks to Noel Meyer for her invaluable help scanning many hundreds of pages for this project.

Please note that addresses (email and otherwise), subscription or merchandise offers, advertisements, prices, etc. shown in original editorial or letters pages are long out of date and no longer valid.
