After Rayek stole the Palace of the High Ones into an unknown future, the remaining, mortal Wolfriders — knowing death might take them before the Palace reappeared — went into the suspended animation of Preserver wrapstuff. Nearly ten thousand years later, they have awakened. During a rare time of calm in their new world, the Wolfriders share memories of long ago — as well as curious dreams from their long sleep. Could these mysterious visions hold clues to the elves’ survival — or even foretell the future?
